Ziloub - Follow The Stars
"It's astounding how the message of one single track may vary, depending on how it's built into a set.
Whereas in Jumpat's mix "Just Juggling (2)" Transmute finally provides kind of peaceful salvation after a restless journey, in your "Follow The Stars" it seems to express lonelyness, at the same time also some deep knowledge about where to go - and the promise of getting there. The beginning of a journey which soon leads through deserts, wide open land at least, all movements 'long wave', longing... (Tempest). This leads into a long tunnel, humid, wetness dripping from everywhere, but safe (Solitarity Native).
At the end of the tunnel (released on - Exit *gg*) things get dry (For you alone) and even sunny (Pachinko), solid, wooden, with some shiny dots in the air (Henree's Promo Track), just a light-hearted afternoon (Go Went Gone).
For the duration of the next two tracks the voyagers go lost... can't be described in words, this being the reason why this story is told by music and not by writing *gg* - but finding what (or whom) they looked for they start dance (Just a little bit closer), flying high (Beatnik - this track makes me get gooseflesh each time I hear it - really a great tune) into a cloud of happiness (Back Like That - great transition on this track, so shiny...), meeting god knows whom inside *gg* (Snake Eyes) - an experience so deep that, back on earth, their journey ends with a programmatic song (Love and hate)."
